[nagdu] My concerns about getting a guide dog.....

Indeed, I am guilty of very occasional non-trust even after 30 years of 
dogdum (notice the lack of a B on the end of dogdum?)

As for those having recently lost, or gradually loosing their sight, that's 
a real tough time not only for the temporary loss of control of one's own 
space and environment, but also due to any stereotypes and/or public images 
held by situation described above.  I'm not blaming here, just observing. 
I've been blind for all my life (well, not quite yet) and still often wish 
it weren't an obvious disability so I don't get trashed before being tried.

Doug not sure if my eyes are bigger than my stomach, but my stomach works.
