i would like to live in Los Angeles and work at the Junior Blind
Of America. It would be a much more positive experience because
all the people that were there before have left and if I was
working there I would be way more busy.

Good Morning Sarah,
I have been reading some of the post. I think its not your
blindness getting in your way but your other disabilities.
Anxiety brings on different mood swings and so does medication.
I think you should speak to your counselor at the Blind and
figure out what you want to do with your life. Your to young to
sit home and not have any goals as to what you want to be. Today
with technology your can achieve many goals for your future.
I don't have sidewalks where I live. I walk my dog every day in
the morning before going to work. It also gives you a reason to
get at of bed because this dog will need you to care for it. Its
also a learning experience to take care of a living creature
because they can't care for themselves.
I think your parents are protecting you and I can understand why.
Maybe when you go to get a guide dog you will make friends and
want to get together with them once you have a dog. It makes it
easier since you will have something in common with your
classmates. I know someone who wanted to move from her parents
home with her guide dog and found a roommate to share expensive
with. they have there own apartment with two guide dogs. So
there is a lot to think about.
I wish you well what ever you decide.
Marilyn and Anna
