[nagdu] Nowhere to go?

Autism! OK, it makes sense now.

Sara, there are groups or organizations that work with autistic people -
Google "autism organizations" and you should get some.

I have a friend who is going to be 66 in a couple of weeks and we believe
she is on the autism spectrum. Back when she was young, they didn't know
anything about it and she had alot of trouble with this all her life. Now,
at age 66, she is getting ready to go for her doctorate in microbiology and
is doing very well. She deals with fears alot but gets through them with
the help of a therapist.

Sara, please get some help with this so you can live a fairly normal life -
you owe it to yourself. Why on earth hasn't your parents done anything
about this??? You have a life to live.

A guide dog will not work if you lack confidence. The dog needs that in a
handler in order to do its job well. Sounds like you've been roped into
getting a dog and that is not a good reason to get a guide dog. I truely
hope you get the proper help you need for your life.
