Hello Jessica,
I know what you mean about budgetting. I do it all the time. I am
currently feeding my lab Natural Balance Lamb Meal and Brown Rice. It
is a 28 pound bag. At Petco it normally costs $54, but with the
coupons and discounts my dog's training school provides it is about
$38 a bag. I buy it from Petco, but on Amazon it is about $42 and it
is delivered to your home. I have had a possitive experience with
Natural Balance. My dog's coat stays shiny and healthy. She rarely has
issues relieving. As for the bed, I bought a cedar chip dog bed at
Costco for $20. It is a big bed. It is super fluffy and I am sure my
dog sleeps super comfortable on it. Another good thing about this bed
is that it has cedar chips inside, and when my dog' moves the lovely
smell of the cedar chips is diffused onto my dog's fur. Also, this bed
has a cover that goes over the bed. You unzip it to wash it in the
washer, and that way you don't have to worry about washing the entire
bed. I hope you are able to find what works best for you.
