[nagdu] sound beacon

[Star Gazer]

No dog, and nothing I can think to do that would be a permanent fixture on
the landscape.

Do  you use a dog? Does the dot not know its house when you grow close? Does
it have to be a sound. You could put something near your house that could be
permanent enough to be a marker?
