[nagdu] no follow up

Some schools don't use food rewards so she may have to incorporate what she
learned at her training program in to the obedience work. the school I went
to get Princess only used verbal praise so that's what I did whenever
Princess did something right.

Ugh, that's rough. What I'd do, personally, is on-leash obedience, maybe
using treats so the dog associates coming on command with reward? Hmm. That
is coming from being a lifelong dog owner, not a guide dog user. Living in
NYC, I haven't had a ton of off-leash time outside of the house with Corey,
so now I'm curious how she'll do with coming when I call. I guess I"ll find
out when I visit my mom next month and we get to play in her backyard.

But yeah - if I was in her position, I'd put the leash on at it's longest
length and do some obedience drills, including using "come." She might also
try doing it outside (still on leash) so the dog gets the point that that
rule still applies outdoors, not just indoors?

Again, this is from being a dog owner/training non-service dogs, and it's
what I'd do. I'm not sure what a school would advise.
