I believe that the rigid long white canes are the ones given away.  Brother
Freeman might provide more info.  One can get a cane every six months by
contacting the National center at (410) 659-9314 and selecting option 0, or
possibly you can contact the Independence Market at option 4.

Hi Michael,
Hey, I forgot about that and didn't know the NFB still had that program. I
have forgotten about how that program worked.  How does one get a free cane
- is it a one-time-only type of thing?  What kind of cane can one get
throough this program - rigid cane or folding?  Do you have to be a member
of NFB for this?
