Thank you Chantel. This u"ually does work, but when he gets very
excited, I make him sit, then lay down.

Sara

Put Wizard in a sit. This will put his focus back on you.

Hope that helps,

Chantel and Motley.

Hello all,

I was wondering what I should do about Wizard's people
distractions. I rarely ever let people pet him while in harness.
But whenever someone talks to me, or talks in our general
direction, he tries to take me over to greet them. He tries to
drag me over to people if he knows them real well such as my mom
or aunt. What do you think I should do besides just pulling on
the leash when he gets excited?

Sarah and Wizard

I think this is a matter of personal preference. I don't usually
allow my dog to be petted in harness. Obviously, people do it
without my permission from time to time.
