Anne, I would do the same thing if i stayed in a B&B and was bringing my
guide dog.  I never stayed at one but many times they are owned and run by
people who also live there.  So, yeah, I personally would talk to the owner
before going there to make sure all is well.  To me doing this could be the
difference in having a pleasant time or a tense one which nobody needs.

Did you get to see the Lab's puppies while at that B&B?  I bet they were
sooooo cute!
