[nagdu] Crossing at crosswalks

Hi all,

Yesterday Ginger reported on an incident on a blind person and his guide dog
getting hit by a car. Thank GOD they weren't seriously hurt. 

Pinellas Co. FL ,where I live,  has the highest rate of pedestrian deaths in
the country. Ace and I have close calls most every week so I had a small
flag made from Day-Glo fabric and wave it every time I cross the street. It
hasn't completely eliminated the close calls but they seem to be greatly
reduced.
