congratulations.
It is like having a new baby.
I remember that remark being made during our first night with our dogs on
class.
It was true.
Have a blessed day.
Blessings,
Melissa Green and PJ

Subject: [nagdu] baby Jetta is here!

We picked up my 8 week old Doberman puppy, Jetta, from the breeder on
Saturday. She is adorable!

She’s doing very well. Everything is new to her and it’s interesting to
watch her little self take it all in and figure it out. She was not
enthused about walking on smooth flooring, but this morning she ventured
into the kitchen to be with me. She’s waking in the middle of the night,
but she goes back to sleep pretty easily. She’s done sleeping around 4:30
though, and that is crazy early.

Monty and Belle mostly ignore her. She wants to play, but they seem to be
annoyed with her puppy antics. They all get along, so I’m letting them be.
I thought Monty would want to play with the puppy, but if he doesn’t, then
he doesn’t.

She likes to explore and check everything out, but she won’t wander more
than about 10 feet from me. She’s able to go up and down the front steps,
but the back ones she still needs help with. She makes little snorting
noises when she sleeps. She’s been here for two days and I haven’t heard
her bark once.

And if none of that makes any sense, it’s because I’ve been up since 4:30!
LOL
Julie
