Original I think you handled it correctly, you knew dog was in 
training.  She will have to go out again with her dog set it up so that 
her dog lerns it can't do this under the table no matter what.
To bad you didn't get her number so you could do  set up again.
Just my thoughts.
Pleased your dogs did fine.
