[nagdu] ID's/ Implants!

I definitely know the purpose of micro chips, but I don't like it anyway.
I'm seriously uncomfortable with the idea of putting something like that in
a living being. My reasons have nothing to doth logic or benefit to the
animals or anything else. And they aren't on topic for the list so I won't
go into them. My dogs do have tags on their collars. I remember from when I
worked at GDB that the way most lost guide dogs or puppies got identified
was from those tags. It's the first thing the average person would look for.

To expand on that, most humane societies look for the chips, and most people
know to ask about them if they find a dog. In contrast, most people don't
notice or know to look for the tattoos. If they do happen to notice them,
they most likely won't know what in the world they are, with it being an
indicator that the dog is a guide dog probably being the last thing on their
mind.
I got Lexia before GDB started micro chipping. However, I got her
one.

Well, the chips are the best way to loccate the dog if it should get lost,
better than tattoos.
