Thanks for all of your responses. I don't think the Iams that I feed her is
one of the recalls but I am going to ask my vet about switching her to
another food. I just figured out that she does not mind eating a treat...but
the food...not so much. :d

Taste of the Wild has been recalled. I was feeding it at the time. I
switched to Solid Gold. It was recalled. So I switched to what I am
feeding now, Earthborn Wholeistics High Plains formula. Man, was that ever a
stressful few weeks, searching for a new food only to find out I chose
wrong.
Taste of the Wild is a good food, but there for a while I couldn't get any,
so had to switch. I can't remember why it was recalled though. Sometimes
they recall foods as a precautionary measure, not because of an actual known
problem. I think that's a responsible good thing to do. I would consider
feeding a food that had been recalled proactively like that before problems
occurred.

Iams has a low protein percentage content, and based on the health, activity
and size of your dog, you may want to consult with your vet. I had a
similar issue with Iams, and changed to a 30% protein with Taste of the Wild
Southwest recipe. It is a super premium dogfood and I am not aware of any
history of food recalls on this product.

Hey guys, I'm writing to ask about yalls opinion on dog food and to ask
about an issue I'm having with Irene.
First of all, I'm just curious what dog food yall feed yalls pups? I
currently feed Irene Iams chicken and rice (that might change soon).
My "issue" may not be such an issue but I'm kinda worried about it. When I
feed Irene her food, it takes a lot of coaxing to actually get her to eat.
Could this be because she doesn't like the food? Could it be a medical
reason?
Do yall have any suggestions on a better food for her?
Thanks,
Dan
