What are the ingredients in the food, and in what order of amount are they
listed? Even if a food seems to be working, it is still important to
consider how much filler is in the food. Foods that are higher in protein
and have less extra stuff are better.
If the food seems to be a good one, and it is working well, then I would
recommend not changing it. JMHO, getting the right food is more important
than being able to get it conveniently, but these are just my thoughts.
There are also places that you can order food on the internet and have it
delivered.

Subject: [nagdu] may be changing dog food

Hi all,

I was thinking about possibly changing Cass' s food from Natural Balance
Lamb and Brown Rice which she has been on since I got her from GDB back in
December. The only reason is the only place you can get the food is Petco
and it is rather difficult to get there and there is PetsMart just next
door.

If I do change the food, has anyone any suggestions as to a similar food,
and what ratio do you suggest to mix the food in transitioning.

I am also not sure if I should even make the change. Cass has no problems
with the food. She loves it, always gobbles it down, and it is what I use in
my kibble pouch for daily incentive.

Does anyone think I might be making a mistake?

Just seeking thoughts and opinions.

In the back of my mind I keep thinking the old phrase "if it ain't broke,
don't fix it".

Thanks,

Daniel and Cass

Lakewood, Colorado
