Dear Daniel,
If it ain't broke, don't change it; as someone pointed out, there
are a plethora of online sources now where food can be ordered directly; I
am thinking of doing that with
http://www.petflow.com/
You can also set up auto delivery, and by the time you pay for taxi or
transit fares, the shipping wouldn't probably be that much more; I also have
a cat, and they have all the products we feed and use for his litter
box--one more thing I can do independently--I can't carry those larger bags
of food any distance anymore.
However, there are other good foods out there if the web sites
happen not to have what you are feeding now.
I just started--or will be starting--Huck on a grain-free food from
Wellness even though I am not sure grain had anything to do with his recent
bout of diarrhea, but I figured it is worth a try, and I have enough of the
other food to change gradually.
Darla & Huck Who recovered very nicely

Subject: [nagdu] may be changing dog food
Hi all,
I was thinking about possibly changing Cass' s food from Natural Balance
Lamb and Brown Rice which she has been on since I got her from GDB back in
December. The only reason is the only place you can get the food is Petco
and it is rather difficult to get there and there is PetsMart just next
door.
If I do change the food, has anyone any suggestions as to a similar food,
and what ratio do you suggest to mix the food in transitioning.
I am also not sure if I should even make the change. Cass has no problems
with the food. She loves it, always gobbles it down, and it is what I use in
my kibble pouch for daily incentive.
Does anyone think I might be making a mistake?
Just seeking thoughts and opinions.
In the back of my mind I keep thinking the old phrase "if it ain't broke,
don't fix it".
Thanks,
Daniel and Cass
