[nagdu] Dogs at work

I work in a laundry, and I would never want the dog in the laundry.  there is way to many things for a dog to get in trouble with.  I was just hoping that we would find a place near to my room.     I was also wondering if this is normal practice, and I just didn't want to get the OK from the school to have a dog, and then they come to my work and are not happy because the dog is on a different floor, and no one is watching to make sure the dog is OK and safe.    I thought the Guide Dog schools would not like the dog bring crated on a different floor.

what kind of work do you do? 
The reason I ask is if it is truly necessary for the dog not to be 
where you work because of danger to others or to the dog, then it's 
reasonable. 
If that is not the case, than to put it bluntly, your boss needs to get over it.
