If you own the dog then only way it can be taken from you is only through court system. Even if the school owns the dog thay just can't take dog from you, the police will tell the school you must go to a judge to get court order to remove the dog. You will need a lawer handle this for you, you don't half to give back guide dog if you ask for the dog back thay will need to go to police and then get a judge to order you to give back dog, this will cost both you and school money and time.

Raven,

Is this something that Guiding Eyes taught or it's a method that you devised on your own? GDB didn't use this method to help the dogs refocus. I was taught to make Viva sit quietly for about 10 seconds and then just start working again. I really like the "touch" command though--it would definitely help Viva focus her attention on me instead of her distractions. She's been super sniffy lately too so I might try this. How woul dyou recommend I start teaching this to her?
