[nagdu] nail grinders

I found the Dremmel very easy to learn. I've been using a grinder since
1997, and I've never hit the quick. I do have to be careful not to leave it
in one spot too long, because it gets hot from friction. I grind a bit,
lift it, then grind some more, or grind in a little different spot. I hold
the grinder in my right hand and the nail in my left, so I can always feel
exactly how the nail looks and where the grinder is. I've occasionally
ground my finger, which isn't so nice, but not a big owie, either.
I grind Ben's nails every week, because we use escalators and I want to be
sure his nails are short. It takes 5-10 minutes to do all 4 paws.
I make him lie down, treat, do a paw, treat, do another, treat... and
several kibbles when we're all done. It's gotten so, when he sees me pick
up the grinder, he dashes over and throws himself down on the ground and
rolls over with his paws ready to go. A little kibble goes a long way.
