hi, all,
Four years ago, February 19th, 2009, was the day I almost lost my beloved husband, Dale Gilmore after being married for only eight months.
The 19th is always a hard day during February as I realized what Odie and I could have lost.
Thanks to Odie, Dale is still here with us and kicking it.
I can say he's more goofier now than he was before.
Although my husband says he's trying not to be nice anymore, I told him that isn't going to work.
His mommy raised him very well.
Our small family will stick together, even after we're physically gone years down the road.
Despite his crazy quarks and times of being hard-headed and stubron, Odie will always play an important role of a four-legged furry kid in our home.
just to let everyone know with a quick update on him, Odie is slowly getting back to himself upon feeling a little better.
For his bland diet, all he can enjoy is plain oat meal with creamy peanut butter.
I plan to snuggle with him up on the bed and really give him lots of hugs and attention.
Today is the day he deserves more and always will.
He's saved my life as well as his daddy Dale's life many times.
Odie would probably do it all over again until he physically leaves the world.
Although he will be a nine and a half-year-old labrawolf soon, he still chooses to behave like a large one year-old puppy instead.
That's all right with us as our son is loads of fun.
