Yup, Shannon, lots of us have been through this.
You may also find it helpful to talk with a councelor who shares your speritual beliefs. That helped me greatly when I lost one of my dogs.
Also give yourself time to process and grieve. Both my daughter and I stayed home the day after we lost Jersey.  I thought we both had stomach bugs, but looking bac, I'm not convinced that's what it was. I think we were just profoundly upset.
