Well, we have 3 dogs, 5 horses, when we're oquicky supposed to 
have 2, so technically we can.  Plus 3 cats and 5 fish.

No, you can't.
You are subject to county regulations and those do have a limit 
on the number of pets.

In some instances, people cannot keep their dogs if they live in
apartments because a lot of apartment complexes have a weight
limit on
how big the dog can be.
