Hi all,
For those of us who have guide/assistance dogs, I wanted to make you aware of a web site that my uncle-in-law and aunt-inlaw went through over the internet to try and order Odie's dog food as they wanted to help my husband Dale and I out.
Am not sure if anyone has heard of it but I'm thinking it is Pet World or World Pets.
You may want to look it up in your search engine. unfortunately, Dale and I didn't get Odie's food delivered as it was supposed to happen, so my uncle and aunt in-law are lodging a complaint with the Better business Bureau so they are able to get help getting their money back that they spent.
They originally ordered Beneful Healthy Radiance and proplan Weight Management with shreaded chicken, brown rice and vegetables.
If anyone has used this web site or business, I'd recommend not going through them for dog food or anything else dog/cat related.
Regardless, Dale is having his aunt Kerry pick him up after Bible Study this Saturday to go to Petsmart and pick up the food.
Some people may ask why Odie is on two different food types.
Reason being is Beneful healthy radiance helps keep his coat shiny and the Proplan weight control helps maintain his weight since he's now a senior.
I don't blame my aunt or uncle -inlaws for what happened in regarding Pet World or World Pets as they had no way of knowing the company would do something like this.
I do appreciate and thank my husband's uncle for wanting to help us out and if they ever decide to order from another web site on line that does cadog food, I'll probably recommend them to Pet Food Direct or Petflow, depending on which one is cheaper and if they do discounts for service dogs.
Sorry for the long, rambling message, but wanted to tell you about that website and definitely stay away from it.
Happily, Odie still has some food around and from what Dale and I can feel when we touch him, he's not overweight.
Eventually, I'll probably take him to the vet and do an annual weight check on him.
