So it sounds like I'm not the only one this has happened to. I've just
been spoiled by temperate yet overly gray weather. Now that I'm in
something more like real weather, it apparently comes as a shock to me.
/lol/

Yeah, I hate what the wind does to my ability to hear cars, which is
what I've been worrying about and getting used to again... Thus, the bit
where the guide dog went airborne in a parking lot where I was super
worried about cars I extra couldn't hear... Well, it gave us both a bit
of a turn. /lol/

So I guess my new Plan A is to avoid crossing parking lots in the windy
parts of town when it's windy! When that cannot be avoided, Plan B is to
suck it up and deal like everyone else does. /grin/

Time to boot up now and go play in the new snow with the dogs! At least
in our big back yard, we get only a fraction of the wind. I do not mind
that at all. /lol/
