Hi all,

We have treadmills at the university here, which are all in a line
against a wall. That means that there is hardly any room for Brie to
lay down next to the machine. So I would always have to ask for one
on the end. That way she can be next to it. She is usually very good
about staying put while I'm doing other things. She sleeps more than
any dog I've ever met. If I'm worried, I will bring a blanket for her
to lay on. Then she does well because she knows it's her spot.

Brie likes to be able to see me. When I was in rehearsals last month,
she was not comfortable unless I was completely out of the room or if
she could see me in the room. Some dogs are like that. So if your
dog is ancy at the gym because she's in a position where she can't see
you, then try to find a different place for her.
