[nagdu] rest for the soul...good or bad?

For me, when I have been at the training school, I found it to be an intense and emotional experience. The work itself wasn't so hard, but just the whole thing of getting to know a new dog, being away from the regular routine, and being with others in the same boat. When I got home, the sort of support that comes from being with like people was kind of torn from under me, the dog structure changed, and I found myself tired and depressed just a little. I guess down might be better than depressed. I did walks just to acquaint myself with the dog more; I took the dog to meet its vet; generally, I chilled. If you have the luxtury to do this, enjoy.

Down at the school, training was pretty tiring because we were going all the time but now that I'm back home, I'm not going so much for a bit. My activity level will pick back up in about a week when I move out for college and start learning new routes and what not.
