Jessica, I hope all goes well when your husband goes to get his new dog and that the retirement of Figby goes well. 
Bibi, I have a Vittle's Vault which you can buy from a pet store or from Amazon. They are air tight and have a screw on lid. Hopefully that will help with your issue.
Dan, congratulations on your new guide Irene. After training it's normal to rest and do short routes in your neighborhood at first.
