I don't like to get lost either.
I am so glad that I use a trecker breeze.
I also find it helpful to know my cardinal directions.
It makes me laugh because people still believe that my girl knows where to 
go and I just have to say the word.  Like take me to the store.

Now I will admit that when I get lost I get scared.
Once I get over the panic then I can try again.
I don't know if some of this has to do with my medicine or not, where I
do notice a difference.
This is one of the reasons why I like having the gps on the phone.
Once I know the street I am on then I am fine, not as brave as I used
to be in Denver.
I knew the city quite well.
Here in town I had to get used to the fact they don't have a street
guide as they do in Denver.
Once I knew the main street, what was going east or west, I could
figure it out.
Now in the area we live in, it goes like this.
We are on the south side of the street, then it goes east or west.
Heavens I get mixed up all of the time.
I am used to going north or south living either on the west or east
side of the street.
I remember the first time I miss counted blocks, calling my husband
asking him to find me.
he asked me what street was I on.
My reply was if I knew that, I wouldn't be lost.
He did find me though that sure helped me out.
What I don't care for is this,
We don't have lights on the street we live on.
We have many stop signs.
Even to crossing two busy streets sixth and eighth.
then we go up and down Broadwater, where there is a light on sixth or 
eighth.
As you keep walking, you go up and down stepping crossing driveways.
I personally would rather walk to a ramp instead of a curb.
I have a bad hip so this is why there is a problem.
Just thought I would share what is happening in the area we live.
