Sorry for the one liner, but what's a canny collar?

Hi there,
today we went out to lunch, while walking to the table he dove down to get
food from the floor.
He did it again the second time while we were getting up to leave.
I know from this stand point, on goes the canny collar.
I have times we can go some where and he doesn't bother to do this at all.
Then he goes back to what he enjoys doing.
Thanks for all of the responces.
While on the floor of the hotell he will wear his canny collar.
With food being sold threw out the hotell this is the best way for him to
stay healthy.
