[nagdu] [NAGDU] Question About retirement

Jessica and all,
In our decisions for the future of our retired dogs, we MUST put the dog's
needs ahead of what we want. I, too, live in an apartment and cannot keep
my retired dogs. I am low-income and can't give the same quality care to
more than one dog or animal. The current guide must take top priority.
Also, many apartments have a size rule for dogs - IF they allow pet dogs.
Remember, when we retire a guide, it then becomes a pet subject to all the
rules for pets. Rules that don't pertain to an active working guide dog.

We all have different life cercumstances and we all need to just do what is
best for the retiring dog and our own situations.
