[nagdu] air line question

Hello!

My dog weighs over 57 pounds and she fits quite nicely under the seat in
front of me. Indeed, she takes up less room under the seat in front of me
and block the other seats in that row.

A very good reason to advise the airline that you have a guide is so that
they can attempt to seat you in an area of the plane with more leg room such
as the bulk head. I can see why they might ask the size of the dog based on
the plane involved because if they had not been able to clear the seat next
to me flying home from school, I have no clue where Tammy would have laid
and she is a 57 pound lab. My feet were touching the wall in front of me and
there was no other place for her except in front of the seat beside me. I
had the harness off too or it would have been much worse for her. As long as
they are not trying to deny access, my thought is why worry if they ask an
extra question or two. It's one more chance for us to put forward a positive
attitude and positive image making us all look better in the end.

That was an agency that had no clue. There is no earthly reason for such
questions. I'm not sure why you shared you have the dog. It would have made
your life a lot more fun, and you wouldn't have been asked, but those are
irrelevant questions. Sorry that happened.
