True Cindy Ray, since we have such a problem there stiff penalties for those
who don't stop if someone steps off the curb in a crosswalk  but
unfortunately that requires a man in Blue in eye sight.

I guess I would go to a corner crosswalk with a traffic signal if I could.
If you are sure you are at the cross walk, you are within your rights, but
that wouldn't matter much if you get hit.
