[nagdu] Figby Update

Hi Sheila,

Can you use the Furminator on them? Some dogs don't like it, but if
you run it down their cots, applying little pressure, it gets rid of a lot
of the hair that falls out on your floors and gets on your clothes.
Some groomers have a shedless treatment; they work fairly well,
after the first day or so, but, in my personal opinion, you can do as well,
for less money than a furminator.
I also like a Tropiclean product; I'll have to look up exactly what
it is, but it is water-based and doesn't dry the coat and conditions the
coat and makes it smell nice. Oxy-Clean, but the same company is great for
itching; I have even used it on my cats; it is gentle and water-based too
with herbs to soothe the itching; I haven't had to use steroid injections
for years because of these products, but I'm not saying they might not be
needed in certain situations, but as any of you know who have had to go the
steroid route, it comes with its own set of problems.
If you don't have a Furminator of your own, maybe someone has one
you could try, and I'd buy from amazon.com/ or somewhere similar; the vets
seem to get a hefty mark-up on the things.
