[nagdu] am proud of my four-legged furry son

Agree with Cindy and others.
The advice to call 911 if you get hurt isn't news.
Finally, if unliscensed dogs were something your county took seriously, the
fine would be such that people would feel the pain. They are not, which
means they view the fine as a potential cost of having a dog. It's not
something they worry about, and more often then not, they are correct.

I kind of dislike the judgmental attitude. First of all, Pits are n ot by
name mean and/or evil. It is interesting what Officer Paul said about Labs,
or what it the lady. Second, the judgment that the owner left because they
knew they were in the wrong is judgmental, and that the dogs weren't
licensed or up-to-date on shots is something you really do not know. The
owner may have left to get the dogs out of the situation. That's what I
would have done. The judgmental is why I'm not bringing my dog to convention
this year. He growls/barks at dogs who are unknown to him. On those
occasions when he got away, nothing else transpires. Mostly, he hasn't. He
sounds mean though, and I get that this is frightening. However, the
reaction is that people assume that I don't have him under control. Not so.
But this year I won't subject myself to it. It was just too stressful, which
isn't really so good for the dog.

Thanks.

that most people do mean well for their dogs. The fact that this person was
out with his or her dogs on leash means he was already a bit better of a
handler than some...at least he walks his dogs, and hopefully in future, the
