Hi
We use a touchless trash can. It wont open until someone is near
enough to trip the motion sensor. My dog Megan has gone up to it but
because of where the sensor is she cannot open the trash can. It is a
nice stainless steel can and is big enough and heavy enough that she
cannot knock it over. We have tried many trash cans as well and have
found this one to work.
