Hello,
My dog Wizard has never ever let me know he has to go out. I
only know he has to go because he will start to lick himself, but
he gives me no notification. I just know when his relieving
times are. He has however, did his business in my mother's house
because she has a boy dog that does his business there and my dog
decided to mark his territory. But yeah with your situation, it
is very strange that Odie did that.

Subject: [nagdu] back to training
Hi, all,
Looks as if I am back to training with stubron Odie again.
He decided this morning that instead of telling me he needed to
go out badly, he did his business on the carpet in the bedroom.
Thankfully because I had to train myself to clean up a dog
accident or two in my mom's home, I can do it easily.
I usually get Odie outside either six in the morning or eight.
Last park time is an hour before the security guard gets off work
at night time.
That's around twelve, one one o'clock in the morning.
So, we're back to reestablishing that the apartment isn't his
personal toilet and that his stuff is to be done outdoors.
Another thing what is puzzling me over his accident is I'm not
sure if he's stressing because we're probably going to be getting
another storm and he's trying to tell me early ahead of time
that I may have a seizure during the storm.
I made a few phone calls to some friends today and they seemed to
be all right medical wise, including my father.
It just could be a number of things.
I'll probably phone an animal behavioralist at the Denver Dumb
Friends League if I need further advice, but plan a call to the
vet first tomorrow.
I know some people may not like that I have Odie on tie down, but
it works best for me when retraining him and I know he's in one
area at all times.
While reestablishing his park schedule, it is done within an hour
or two.
Another interesting part of all is how Odie doesn't forget his
guide dog or medical alert work, but can forget about remembering
to let me know when he needs to go out.
Of course, silly labrawolf doesn't forget when it is time to eat.
Oh well...
Regardless, I still love him no matter what.
We'll get through this together and it's still like taking care
of a human kid.
I, the four-legged furry son's mama need retraining too.
*Smiles*
Bibi and son Odie
