Subject: Upcoming Changes
Dear List Members:
I am writing everybody who is subscribed to a mailing list housed on 
nfbnet.org.  We are going to be making some changes to our system, in 
the next few weeks.  You won't have to do anything differently, but 
list performance may be impacted.
We are moving everything from a physical server in my basement to a 
Virtual Private Server, VPS, located in a data center -- we are 
moving to the cloud in common parlance.  This will result in 
decreased costs to the NFB, and will likely also give us better performance.
While the data is being migrated, it is likely that web site 
performance, and mail delivery will be slowed down.  And on the day 
we make the cut-over to the new system, things won't be available for 
several hours.  All of this should be happening over the next two to 
four weeks.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this 
may cause you and ask that you be patient.
