Subject: [nagdu] sick labrawolf

Hi, all,
I'm definitely getting Odie my labrawolf into the vet tomorrow afternoon.
He unfortunately threw up in the basement of the Wilmington Webbe Clenic
this morning as I was checking in for my altra sound.
What was disgusting and embarrasing of all is after he got sick, he ate it
right back up.
That made me feel sick to my stomach, especially after one of the ladies who
came out to see if she could help get it cleanned up described to me what
was happening.
Another good reason for calling him a human four-legged furry kid instead of
a dog.
*Wow*
I am suspecting it is stress related as we've had a rough month in April and
also part of May.
He's still grieving and my belief is that Odie is still feeling the loss of
his daddy, missing him a lot.
I also noticed some soft stool happening and figured out immediately that
having him do his tummy meds and Mobility Plus chewable tablet at the same
time wasn't such a good idea as it was possible both were canceling each
other out.
This morning, I just put his tummy meds in his food and will try again this
evening with the Mobility Plus chewables.
I decided to try the Mobility Plus chewable vitamins as it has all natural
ingredients and is supposed to help his joints.
It also may be possible that again, he ate too fast without bothering to
chew up his food before swallowing it.
I also plan to have the vet take a look at his right eye as the stye is
growing again.
I hope that it's not affecting any of the vision in that right eye as it is
concerning.
If it continues to be a problem, I may just have the vet remove it next
month or in July.
Right now, the labrawolf is sleeping peacefully on the bed next to me and I
hope that the rest will serve his purpose of getting better.
I do have water down for him in one of the bowls on the elevated stand that
he can access and drink to stay hydorated.
Like a kid though, he's stubron and I figure I can't make him drink the
water that he will eventually do it on his own.
Will let everyone know what happens tomorrow or Friday in regards of seeing
the vet.
Bibi and son Odie
the sick labrawolf
