WOW, did this go in a direction I didn't expect. I was just giving a thought to Jewel and some things that could maybe be causing the trouble. I don't know Jewel, and I was in no way saying she didn't care for the dog. some dogs need different things then others. I have not yet had a guide dog, but I have had dogs and they are all different and you treat them differently. I know that blind people love their dogs and most go out of their way for the dog to be happy, I was just saying what I have been seeing lately. I know that part of their job is to be still and quite while you do your job. I have met people with guide dogs at national conventions. Because of meeting them and seeing an hearing how they love their dog and how the dog gives them a sence of freedom that they maybe could not have with a cane is a big part of why I want a dog.

Dogs are always going to be dogs. Even if you give them all the time
they want to run around, they are still going to exhibit some bad
behaviors during their guide work. I'm sur ewith some adjustments,
Jewel can definitely fix her issues with her guide and I bet she gives
her plenty of time to be a dog.
