[nagdu] update on Lady

Rachel,
The case will depend on the type of laws that the state currently has in
place as there are no federal protections for service dogs that have been
attacked. If there are laws in place, and law enforcement was not involved,
it could make it tougher. If they were involved and the assailant was
cited, this is good. First, see what laws protect this person.

Good luck to your friend,

Steve

Subject: [nagdu] update on Lady

Hello, everyone.

First and foremost, I wanted to thank those of you who donated to Lady's
care. She is home now. Her gait is improving, so Dr. Gordon,, the
neurologist saw no reason to do an MRI and spinal tap.

I plan to go to the media with this. I also will need some recommendations
as to lawyers in Tucson. I really can't afford one, though. Is this
something that legal aid could help out with?

Thanks again for everything.

Rachel and Lady
