[nagdu] Banfield Veterinary Services

Dear Cindy Rae,
What you say makes a whole lot of sense; I was at a vet clinic in
Florida, for awhile, because it was close, and I never knew who I could see;
I eventually switched to a vet I was sorry to leave--I think he probably had
most of the guides in our town--but he was darn good an loved the guide
dogs.
Maybe I'm not appreciating enough what I already have.
Darla & hardworking Huck

Well, I have used their services. On the plus side, they are pretty
thorough, I think. Also, they are open a lot of hours, including Sundays. If
I recall, they do call to ask how the dog is doing if you have had a
procedure. Lee Johnson at TSE had said to me once that she would be hesitant
about using them because often they have young ets with less experience or
older ones who are into retirement mode, and these aren't her exact words. I
didn't feel I got any less service from them though. Because you never know
which vet you will see there, I am not sure I like that aspect. They do have
all the information on the computer, so the information is OK, but I'd like
to know that I had more of a personal relationship with my vet than that,
but that's just me. I went there for about a year when I was angry with my
vet, but then I got over it and went back.

cheaper farther away, I'd factor in the cost of getting there. I have to
take a taxi to my vet, and it's about $20 each way.
