Hi from Howard and guide dog Rhett he oes in the street. I live in NYC and
we can let our dogs go on public streets and we need not pick up after the
dog, but I do pick up his stuff. On private land thay can ask you not to
have your guide dog not go there.

Well I'm only here for the summer. My roommates are the full time renters. I
didn't listen to the lady I guess so she called one of them. Crazy I know.

Um, no offense to your neighbor, but hadn't that person ever heard of those
wonderful appliances called dryers? And why is that person talking to your
roommates instead of you? What are your roommates supposed to do about it?

Buddy,

Uh...no, I was thinking the exact same thing. LOL

Hannah,
Any laws would be of a local nature, probably a city ordinance. Generally
speaking pooper scooper laws just state to clean up after your dog. I've
never heard of any that state where the dog should go in the first place.
If you live in an apartment complex, there might be rules there. If the
apartment rules conflict with your ability to enjoy the facilities, then you
could request an accommodation.

Personally, I think relieving by the dumpsters would be convenient for ease
of disposal and it is considerate of the neighbors who are sane. Nobody
expects the area around the dumpsters to smell like roses...at least no
place I've ever lived.

Julie
