Deanna,

Depending on the airline, they may ask this so that they can provide an extra seat for your guide. Airlines also have limits to the amount of service dogs they carry on planes. One airline asked for Jenny's measurements for this reason; another asked, but didn't seem to have a reason.

p.s. Did the PAWZ arrive yet?

Subject: [nagdu] Airlines asking for a dog's weight.

Hi,
What is the point in an airline asking for your guide/service dog's weight? Do all airlines do that now?
I haven't been asked this yet, but I just wonder in case it does happen.
Thanks!
Deanna and Pascal
