Hi Michael,

The person will need a USDA Health Certificate from their Vet. I believe it is within 14 days of travel for Costa Rica. The dog will need to be vaccinated for Distemper, Rabies, Leptospirosis and Hepatitis. Have them check with the Airline for any specify requirements they have for travel to Costa Rica that is always a big help. I have never had any problems getting in but, if they stay more than 30 days it can be a chore getting back to the USA.

Regards,
Brett and Ziva
