I don't know.  I bought it and Furminator's deodorizing spray through Amazon (which I think sells it for Furminator).  I think it was about eleven or twelve dollars for each.

Dear Craig,

Do you know if Petco or PetSmart carries the Furminator solution?  My cat sheds like crazy as does my retired guide.
Huck sheds but not excessively so given I groom him every day.

When I left GDB last year, they sent us home with a nice little kit.  It had a wash cloth, cotton balls, ear cleaning solution, a two sided brush, a rubber nubbed thing and a comb.  Also toot brush and tooth paste.  It went inside a fanny pack.  I use the rubber nubbed thing to go against the grain, then brush Chase with the grain.  I follow that with the comb.  Then I brush his teeth.  It takes about five minutes a day.  I also use the furminator once a week and clean his ears with the cotton balls and solution once a week. Furminator also sells a deshedding spray that I've been using lately.  It seems to help keep him from shedding.  I spray it on just before the brushing with the grain.  It's nasty to breathe, but it cuts down on any doggy odor.    Afterward, his fur feels a little like using conditioner on my own hair.

Occasionally, I have to use the wash cloth to wipe the eye noogies from his face.

BS"D

Rebecca,

I've a Labrador. We didn't get any grooming tools when we received our dogs since many owners before us haven't used them and bought other grooming tools instead. We got a brush in a silicone material with very short prickles both it isn't for grooming but for relaxing. I've only used it one time since I Think it's useless and Hera doesn't relax at all, she plays the hiding game instead. Anyhow, I've bought a steel comb which I also use to my cat. I also have a furminator which I use once a week and I comb her Daily even if she doesn't like it at all. *Evil mummy*

Kind regards,
Leye-Shprintse and Hera <3
