Yes, Longstreet haed a guide dog and used a cane, sometimes at the same 
time. I thought that was strange at the time, but have since learned that it 
is often a useful thing to do.

I remember longstreet. I don't even know if I realized that he had a
guide dog. lol  I think it was back in the seventies.
