[nagdu] ice storm then snow storm

Hello all,

We had a terrible ice storm just before Christmas. We did not lose power
but many people did. Branches and trees were falling down so it was
dangerous to go outside.
Now we are in the midst of one historic snow storm. We have fifteen inches
of snow and bitter cold.
I'm writing about this because I can't take Filix out to work. Right now
all driving except that for emergencies is forbidden.
I am trying to play with Filix to let him get rid of energy.
Please let me know if anyone has suggestions for helping Filix be more
peaceful.
Thank you.
Mary and Filix

Jessica,
I have the Yak Trax Walkers, I walk at least a mile a day, and they are very
helpful. I got the size small, it fits women's size 6.5-10. Hope that
helps!

Hello,
So it looks like the yak trax will be in my future. Can someone tell me
though how to determine the size to buy and what the different is between
the pro and the walk? I think the walker might be ok for me but I did not
know if the pro might work better when walking further distances.

Hi Elizabeth,

I have a pair of those yack trakks and they work well to keep you from
falling on the ice.On a side note though, when you put them on inside, just
be careful when walking on wood, tile and aluminuim floors because you will
slide. Also if you're going from the outside to the inside of a building,
when you get inside the building take off the yack trakks because there not
made to be able to walk on floors I mentioned above. Take care.
