[nagdu] Too much Sniffing

Hi Julie,

I can practice that today; there is a place he nearly always sniffs
on the way up the sidewalk that leads to my house; I do praise him, I think,
as soon as he leaves it.

There is a collar that remains higher on the dog's neck? How didn't I know
about this when my dog was still working? I was going to recommend a high
collar correction as well. With Brie, I only had to give a lighter high
collar correction, and that did the trick for sniffing when nothing else
worked. I am sure you are doing this, but praise him for leaving it when he
is sniffing and you tell him to do so. If there are places where he usually
sniffs, you can say leave it before or reward him before going past it, and
if he does not sniff, have a good old party. Lol This also used to work
with Brie, who loved to sniff, especially people.
