I'm really sorry about Sophie.

As for smaller dogs, they can have incredibly strong pulls. My Acelet is about twenty inches tall, and fifty-five pounds. He pulls like a freight train. My partner, on the other hand, has a dog who is twenty-six inches tall, and just over seventy pounds. He has a gentler pull. So, size and pull do not necessarily match.
