[nagdu] I guess I will not be getting a dog

Dear Barb,

Quite a few schools will, at least, on a case-by-case basis, offer in-home training.

I'm glad jobs are so easy to find especially when we are in our 50's; who wouldn't want a better job? <gentle smile>

So, do apply to other schools; don't let this put you off your dream of having a Gide dog.

Don't lose hope. I've heard not so nice things about that school. That's not to say they're bad, they just don't seem to be the best either. I believe Guiding Eyes will also do home training in circumstances such as yours.
